Welcomes Back Our Returning Families & Congratulates To Our New Cheerleaders & Their Families On Joining Our HWW Family.
It is our goal to promote a strong community, positive growth, memories & lasting friendships in a safe environment in which each cheerleader is academically, mentally & physically fit. Cheerleading is a commitment & takes 100% effort from each member of the squad. To be a great cheerleader, one must be motivated to do their best, willing to work with their squad as one unit, & never give up. Cheerleaders of Horizon West Wolverines are expected to demonstrate honorable behavior in all aspects of their lives in and out of uniform. Actions both physical & verbal should be respectful, classy & well-mannered especially while in uniform, any and all logo attire. Cheerleaders, their parents, friends and family members are to respect, cooperate and uphold the HWW Organization Rules & Regulations at all events, practices, competitions, games and so forth.

Games are scheduled on Saturdays and are mandatory. There will be home and away games. Regular season games may be played anywhere in the Mid-Florida area and will require limited travel. If games are cancelled, make-up games may be scheduled on Sundays or weeknights. Generally, games start near the end of August and go through October. If a football team ‘advances’ to the playoffs, the cheerleading squad will cheer at all of the playoff games.
Competitions are the decision of the HWW Board of Directors. Cheerleaders will be required to be at all competition practices. The girls will be cheering at the football games on a weekly basis and as the season progresses, competition will become the focus.
Teams will begin working on competition dances, tumbling and stunt routines.
**Competition Squad members may have an additional purchase of competition wiglets & hair bows**
